It Started with a Murder

The first of two films made as part of my PhD research exploring how autoethnographic animation may help process psychological trauma. This film explores memories of my attempted murder through associated court documents, juxtaposed with flashing lights representing repeated blows to the head. The film is silent, reflecting the difficulty of putting such experiences into words.
